Decision-led safety training for frontline teams | Pixaera | Pixaera

People don't learn safety by being told. They learn by deciding

Pixaera is decision-led safety training. Instead of asking workers to remember a rule, we put them in the moment that rule exists for, so the lesson holds when it counts, on site.

Completion isn't competence.

Most safety training is built to be completed, not remembered. Slides get clicked through and toolbox talks fade by the next shift. It produces a completion report, and that tells you who showed up, never who's ready to make the right call on site.

Training people step into, not sit through.

Decision-led training works the way people actually learn: by doing, not by being told. Every scenario drops a worker into a situation they recognise and asks them to make the call. They choose, they live the consequence, and the rule becomes something they've already done.

Making the call is what makes it stick.

When a worker has to decide, they can't tune out. They have to weigh the situation, commit to an action, and see what happens, and that act is what builds the recall they'll draw on when they face it for real. Three things make it land:

They make the call, so they engage with it.

Passive training washes over people. A decision demands they stop, weigh the situation, and commit, with no clicking through on autopilot.

Facilitator leading an in-person classroom session
They live the consequence, so it matters.

Seeing a call play out, right or wrong, is what turns a lesson into something they carry with them onto the site.

A worker accessing training via a link or QR code
They recognise it, so they take it seriously.

Built in their own world, with their sites, hazards and terminology, the scenario stops being someone else's story and starts being theirs.

This is HOP reaching the frontline.

Most safety leaders have already bought into HOP: error is normal, blame fixes nothing, context drives behaviour. The philosophy is sound, but training hasn't caught up. Decision-led practice closes that gap, showing why each call made sense at the time and landing on the control that would have changed the outcome, never on blame.

A different kind of safety training.

Whatever you're using today, the gap is the same: it tells you training happened, not whether anyone's ready. Here's how decision-led is different.

01
vs classroom and toolbox talks.
Passive, one-off, and gone within weeks, with only a signed register to show for it. We capture every decision, so you see readiness, not attendance.
02
vs e-learning.
Digital, but still something to click through. We build competence, where e-learning only tracks completion.
03
vs pure VR.
Deep, but headset-bound and impossible to scale. We deliver the same depth on any device, across your whole workforce.

The depth people remember, at the reach you need.

Depth of experience

Training that truly engages people has always been hard to scale. Pixaera delivers the depth of an experience workers step into and remember, the kind that holds up when it counts on site.

Reach across the workforce

And it reaches everyone: every worker and contractor, on any device, in 42+ languages, across every site. One standard, everywhere, without watering it down to get there.
