Who are we?
We are a team of driven individuals who strongly believe in the positive impact gaming and AI will have on the learning world. Today, we’re helping enterprise businesses transition from video to gamified learning experiences that far outperform their traditional counterparts. If you strive to work in a creative and high-output environment, read on.
Who are we looking for?
A Technical Artist who is a true 3D generalist and lives in Unreal. You model, texture, light and optimise, you build the shaders and tools that make a scene work, and you know how to get it all running fast in engine. You have shipped real work in games, film, animation or an adjacent craft, and you want to point that skill at immersive safety training that genuinely changes how frontline workers learn. You are as happy directing generative 3D and video tools as you are hand crafting an asset, and you want both in your kit.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing production-ready 3D assets end to end: modelling, UVs, texturing and look development, built from real reference and correct, safety-critical detail.
- Owning the art-to-engine pipeline in Unreal Engine 5: materials and shaders, lighting, world building, and the performance work that keeps modules smooth across VR, web and video builds.
- Building the shaders, tools and automations that make every future module faster to produce, and making the generative pipeline part of your default way of working.
- Rigging and animating characters, machinery and environment beats where the moment calls for it (animation is a strong plus rather than a gate).
- Directing generative 3D, image and video tools, then bringing the output up to a production bar by hand.
- Holding the visual quality bar across modules and working shoulder to shoulder with level designers, engineers and instructional designers, from brief to shipped.
Who are you?
- Deep, hands-on Unreal Engine skills (UE5): materials, lighting, Sequencer, and real profiling and optimisation.
- A genuine 3D generalist who can build assets from scratch across tools such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush and Substance.
- Several years of production experience (roughly 4 or more) in games, film, VFX, animation or an adjacent real-time or 3D craft, with shipped work to show.
- Comfortable with shaders and technical problem solving, ideally with some scripting (Python, Blueprints or similar).
- Rigging and character or mechanical animation is a strong plus.
- At ease working with, and critically judging, AI generated media, and comfortable in a repo-based pipeline of branches, pull requests and review.
- A real plus if you have used AI to generate 3D content and built AI-driven tools and pipelines.
What You Must Be:
- A generalist at heart, happier owning the whole visual outcome than a single narrow slice of it.
- High output and high standards, able to move quickly without letting quality slip.
- Direct and collaborative: you give and take clear feedback, and you raise problems early.
- Genuinely curious about AI and generative tooling, and keen to make it part of your craft.
- Able to show a strong portfolio or showreel that proves the work is yours.
How do we support and benefit our employees:
